This Cookie Policy explains how Adaptr (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit adaptrai.app or use our web application.

We use cookies only for essential authentication, student sessions, and limited functional features. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies at this time.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your session, preferences, or security state.

Similar technologies include local storage used by your browser for short-lived signup flows. We describe those below where relevant.

• adaptr_cookie_consent — Purpose: store your cookie category choices — Duration: up to 12 months — Provider: Adaptr (first-party) — Category: Strictly necessary

When you first visit adaptrai.app, we show a cookie preferences banner. You can accept all cookies, allow essential cookies only, or customize categories.

Analytics cookies are disabled by default and are not loaded unless you opt in. You can reopen the banner anytime via Cookie settings in the site footer.

Strictly necessary cookies are required to provide authentication and student access. They do not require consent under most privacy frameworks, but we disclose them here for transparency.

Functional cookies (referral and plan intent) support signup flows you initiate. They are not used for cross-site advertising.

If we introduce analytics, marketing, or non-essential third-party cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law (including Québec Loi 25 and applicable EU rules), request your consent before setting them.

You can control cookies through your browser settings — block, delete, or limit cookies at any time. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using student features.

Teachers can sign out to clear authentication cookies. Students can sign out from the student view to clear the student session cookie.

To clear functional cookies, remove site data for adaptrai.app in your browser or wait for them to expire.

Our authentication and database provider (Supabase) may set cookies needed for secure login. Their processing is governed by our agreements with them and our Privacy Policy.

We do not currently embed third-party advertising or analytics scripts that set tracking cookies on the marketing site.

We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
